Bodhisattva Sayi Nyingpo Kalachakra Practice

Bodhisattva Sayi Nyingpo Kalachakra Practice
* for World Peace *
by Lama Drimed Lodro
Are you refraining from turning on your TV and tuning into a news broadcast because it’s simply too frustrating
to watch what is going on globally? Warfare, killings, diseases, hunger, etc. all the human-inflicted and/or natural
disasters seem to headline our daily news. With sincere hope for world peace, Lama Drimed will lead us in this
joint effort to invoke the blessing energy of the earth essence – bodhisattva Sayi Nyingpo, by the practice of this
Kalachakra mantra.
In the second half of the session, Lama Drimed will bestow the oral transmission of the preliminary practices of
Longchen Nyingtik. Those who wish to engage in these preliminary practices but have not already received the
oral transmission are welcome to attend. Once you complete the reception, you may then listen to the teachings
through audio tapes and get on with your practices.
After the long (oral transmission), there will be time reserved for Q&A. All questions are welcome.

Fourteen Root Samaya of Vajrayana

Lama Drimed will give a teaching on the fourteen root samayas – precepts that tantric practitioners solemnly
vowed to uphold. What are these root samayas? How do we carry them while we navigate along in our daily life?
And perhaps the most important question: How the way we uphold our samayas affects us and/or our beloved
root lamas?
After the teaching, there will be a session dedicated to Q & A. Any questions regarding Mahayana and Vajrayana
Buddhism can be presented for clarification.
Time:
September 10th, 2006 Sunday 25 p.m.
1) The 14 Root Samayas in Tantric Buddhism;
2) Clarifying some common questions and/or
misconception on Mahayana/Vajrayana Buddhism
(Please compile your question list for Q&A)
